Each event is an opportunity for celebration, networking and, most importantly, recognition, attended by an exclusive list of 100+ C-suite leaders from the manager, allocator, and service provider communities.

For each category and track record cohort, we shortlisted the funds with the highest compounded annualised return metrics. This selection reflects the nature of hedge funds as 'absolute return vehicles.' In cases where the same fund excelled across multiple cohorts, we recommended it for the longer cohort category and highlighted a different fund for the shorter cohort. This approach diversifies the awards and broadens the range of potential winners.

Pre-selection data for the fund manager awards has been provided by Bloomberg, based on absolute performance and risk adjusted returns for the 2023 Calendar Year. (1st January - 31st December 2023).

To be eligible, nominees must be primarily domiciled in either the United States or Canada. Managers represented are amongst the youngest reporting managers within their award universe.

Awards for certain categories will be put forward to our Investor Advisory Board for their considered opinion. These Awards will be announced on the night and include:
